Enklava

Director Goran Radovanovic / Serbia

Kosovo in 2004, five years after the official end of the war. Nenad (Filip Subaric) is ten years old and grew up in a Serbian enclave. Every day he is driven from his father’s farm to school in a KFOR armored vehicle, where he is the only remaining student. The loneliness is difficult for the little boy, because like everyone else his age, he wants nothing more than a few friends. On his journeys, through the small openings of the vehicle, he always sees the same two Albanian boys and a shepherd boy whose father was killed and who hates Serbs. When Nenad’s grandfather dies one day, the young Christian undertakes a risky journey behind enemy lines and makes friends with the Muslims. Because it is with them that he has the opportunity to organize a proper burial for his grandfather…
